Focused on creditors' rights, bankruptcy, and insolvency matters, Mike represents creditors, (secured and unsecured) and landlords in a wide variety of insolvency-related matters, both in and outside of bankruptcy court. Mike also represents court-appointed bankruptcy trustees, debtors in corporate restructurings and workouts, and creditors' committees in Chapter 11 cases. This broad range of experience in handling complex bankruptcy issues permits him to effectively counsel clients on all aspects of an insolvency matter.

Mike is a strong advocate of negotiation that will lead to timely, beneficial results for his clients.  He is also experienced and skilled in litigation, including a proven track record in bankruptcy cases. Mike has represented clients on various insolvency issues in state courts and in bankruptcy courts in the Northern, Central, and Eastern Districts of California. He has argued appellate cases before the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
